Real Temp reading

Hi guys, I am currently testing up my e5300 OC ((AW9D-Max mobo) at 3.84 with Prim 95 and I am having a Real Temp reading of 59C, which is not so bad I suppose. However, I am getting a motherboard cpu temp reading of 70ish. Whats the deal here? I have heard about faulty temp senors in wolfdale cpus...I do have a stucked sensor not able to show proper idle temp, but seems to work fine when under load.

I thought the mobo reading is supposed to be lower than the Real Temp reading. Please let me know which temperature reading I should be using.

The motherboard reads the temperature from a sensor located somewhere on the board itself, whereas Real Temp reads from sensors built into the CPU cores themselves. The motherboard's CPU temperature readings are completely meaningless and should be ignored completely. Just go by what Real Temp tells you.
