sorry for asking this but if anyone got a quik solution
be more than thankful

  1. Log in as an administrator.
  2. Go to the Computer Management window (type computer management under the start menu (easy way) otherwise it's under Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Computer Management
  3. In the left pane select Local Users and Groups > Users
  4. Right click the folder with his name, choose Set Password
  5. Change it :) (you can leave it blank and hit OK)

ok i have tried that but it wouldnt boot of the cd i entered bios an changed the the primary boot to cd -rom but to no avail i can get into his account fine but cannot install software or anything without been promted for the admin password (the one that has been forgotten) believe!! i given them a hard time over it.
is they any way to change the admin password from a normal user account via cmd or any other way thanks for your input

nope, have to have admin privileges.

How did you burn the CD, did you just copy the file to a blank cd or did you actually burn it as an image?

hmm that was what i was thinking after i extracted it i popped it into a new folder an then burnt it
