Hello all:

I have my SLI rig all together but it needs some software (obviously) to run. However, my question is should I install XP with the bare minimum (i.e. sans Sound Card, Wireless NIC, etc.) and then install these one at a time after the initial install?

Thanks.

I'd say plug everything in and then install xp but i don't have any good reason of doing it this way. I'm looking forward to see if people think its better to install periphericals after the main install and why.

Is that really the best thing to do? I have heard that you should get a minimalist system working properly and then go from there.

i don't know, maybe, i just never had any problems installing xp everything just worked strait the first time everytime (i installed xp maybe 5 or 6 time only)
