I'm having a problem with my card readers. Everytime I put in a high capacity card, (over 2 gigs) the my computer screen freezes and doesn't let me open it up to transfer files. I've tried multiple card readers, and multiple computers, it happens on XP as well as vista. am i missing something?
 
Well both, I've tried all variations, same 4 gig card sd card on 3 machines, different readers all are unable to read it. I can switch the readers and still doesn't work. Same machine different readers; different machines same reader. I've tried a second 4 gig sd card, and an 8 gig card, both with the same results as the first one. A 512mb one works though.
