I found that Optimizer XP works good for both AMD and INTEL CPU's just download it, install it, run it, choose your Internet connection speed and then do a restore shield setting choose your CPU type it will reboot your machine, then run it again, you can choose between a safe optimization and a performance optimization then choose your CPU type and go.
I used a performance optimization on an old Hewlett Packard Vectra VL SERIES 4 5/166 Pentium I 166Mhz. CPU with a FSB of 60Mhz. runnig Win2k and the CPU clocked out at 262Mhz. with a FSB of 75Mhz.
Best of all this is free overclocking software.
