I have two questions:

1) I have an Asus SLI Deluxe motherboard. The stock asus fan on the chipset became too noisy so I replaced it with a Zelman heatsink. Everything was working fine until today. I noticed that my computer locked up and when I went to restart it, the screen was blank. I can hear windows booting, but nothing shows up on the screen. I know it is not the monitors. I open the computer and one of the pins holding the heatsink fell off. The heatsink was half way off. Im guessing I fried my chipset and need a new motherboard. What do you guys think?

2) If so what should I get to replace it. I have dual 6800gt's so I need SLI. I have a AMD 3500 with 4gb of ram and a SATA HD. The asus motherboard fans are too noisy for me. Damn them!
