I am running dual 6800gt's and up until today I had a crt monitor. I just bought two LCD Hyundai L90d+ monitors (8m/s) and hooked them up. I am only having one problem. When I go to start Battlefield 2 it opens and then closes back to the desktop shortly thereafter. It was working fine with my crt. Any suggestions? Someone said I should put my crt back, and lower the bf2 in game resolution settings. Should I do this? I also have one other questions, Nvidia hasn't updated their drivers so that you can run sli and dual monitors?!?! DAMN NVIDIA!

Thanks!

These are my specs:

Fx-55
3 Gb of memory
250gb SATA HD

Just in case you thought perhaps I didn't have enough memory to run the game :). It worked fine on my crt.

My guess is that you had the resolution set to a mode higher than your new monitors will support. Is there a safemode for the game or a way to reduce the resolution via a config file?

You could put your CRT back on, open the game, reduce the resolution and try it again with your new monitor.

PS Rich bastard! :p

Fixed it. Thanks. All I had to do was reinstall BF2. Supposedly BF2's programmers were idiots and BF2 searches for your original monitor's settings, and when it doesn't find it the program closes.
