Re-Formatting a 3TB Drive for NTFS

Here's the short version -- hopefully I'm being a n00b. I have a 3TB drive that I've been using in my Linux box with no problems for a while. Now I'd like to migrate it to a Windows 7 box and use NTFS on it.

I'm running into the issues with GPT and drives 2.19TB and larger.

So, my question is simple. How do I get this drive re-formatted to NTFS at the full capacity?

This is _not_ the only drive in the box. I do _not_ need to boot from it -- data access only is fine.
 
Go into Windows Disk Management, right click the drive (far left, the drive, not the partitions) and "Initialize Disk". I think it lets you choose MBR or GPT at that point. Then just make your NTFS partition. Format. Profit. Well except for your crappy OS :p
 
thanks for the tips. I found this exact information after digging around on the Microsoft page a bit.
