A client has Remote Desktop Services running on Server 2008R2, domain joined and wants a time clock program to start automatically when the session starts. I figured it would be no problem, but I'm finding out TS does things a little differently.
I've only been able to find documentation on autostarting a program in 'kiosk' or application mode- the session starts with desired program and only desired program available, if the application is terminated, the user logs out.
I've tried editing the User Profile, Run Program at Logon GPO, and even used a GPO to add a registry key in the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. All attempts give either the previously described result, or no result at all.
Any ideas?
