RDS 2012 and 2008 mixed

I created a 2012 RDS broker and two 2012 session hosts.
I discovered my app wont run on windows 2012.
I have to run my app on 2008 r2.
So i need to change my RDS session hosts to 2008 r2.
Can i can have 2008 session hosts in my 2012 RDS collection ?

Or do i need to use all 2008 r2 for my broker and session hosts compltly ?

Let me know id this is not the correct forum to post.

I discovered that you cannot mix them.

I recreated a RDS configuration 100% 2008.
