Hi all. I'll be building a new main system in the next few months, which will indirectly decomission an older machine. I plan on using that machine as a dedicated jukebox hooked to my stereo so I can pack away all my cds. I'm a professional musician & audio quality is important, so I would like to avoid the crappy ubiquitous 1/8" jack. I have no need for any type of surround sound, so a good stereo pair is all I need. My question is this: are there any cards out there with RCA-type output jacks? Any response will be greatly appreciated.
 
Yes, there are a few different cards on the market that have RCA jacks.
One of the most common is the M-audio Audiophile.
If I was you I would look the EMU 1212 m.
It has 1/4" balanced or unbalanced outputs (1/4" I-Os are more common on pro class cards then RCA jacks)
 
since you said you are a musician, why not drop the dough on an aardvark sound card. They are more or less studio cards, and has a breakout box with all kinds of inputs and outputs.
 
I also would recommend the Emu 1212M. I've got one, and I think it's a great card, very nice sound quality, and good connectivity also.
