Razer Lycosa

I'd agree if you could see the keys in daylight. I couldn't, so I returned my Lycosa after about a week.

I'd get one even sooner if it was a bit lower than $80. I'll do ebay or something for it lol. Razer=pwnage.

The keys, or the backlight?

I hate my Saitek Eclipse II for the backlight being too dim in the dark, but I can see the keys fine in the daylight. ;)

The Lycosa's keys are unreadable during daylight. I had an Everglide DKT and could easily read the keys during daylight or with the backlighting turned off. At night or with no room lights on, the Lycosa's backlighting works fine. I just got a Saitek Eclipse 2 and really like it. I can read the keys easily with the backlighting on or off, day or night. If some company combined the Lycosa's flat, rubberized keys with the Eclipse 2's adjustable backlighting, we'd have the perfect keyboard.

I have the Lycosa and I can see the keys just fine in the daylight. Not only that, but my desk is just 5 feet away from a big window so Im using the keyboard quite abit around sunshine and at times turn off the backlights. Maybe its just me, but I love this keyboard, day or night.

I was thinking of this one to replace my current keyboard.

But... Is the Razer Lycosa worth the price difference from the Razer Tarantula Keyboard?

If your room is very light and/or you have bad eye sight and/or you always watch the keyboard when writing, then you might get a problem with this keyboard. However at night this keyboard is perfect imho!

The lights are not to strong nor to weak, you can also turn the lights of when watching a movie, really neat!
