i need a new mouse as my mx700 recharger is broken and i need to manually recharge them all the time... also the fact that there wont be any 64bit xp or vista drivers for it... since logitech is so ignorant i decided to go with razer.... so is there much difference between copperhead and diamondback plasma?... copperhead is $70 while diamondback is $50 cdn

The copperhead has more buttons which increases functionality in terms of browsing as well as gameplay, and allows you to switch DPI level from 400 to 2000 in steps, which I find pretty useful. The diamondback is just on 1600dpi.

Ah, and the copperhead has a swish little light that pulses slowly, which is nice and gaudy for those of us that like that sort of shallow attraction :D

A big issue for me is the size. I have a Diamondback and recently selected and built a setup for my friend and chose a Copperhead for him, as he liked the feel of the Diamondback. The Copperhead seems larger, but not in a bad way. If you're hands are large you can have trouble accomodating the form of the Diamondback. To me, the Copperhead had a much nicer feel overall, while the Diamondback is more aesthetically pleasing. I'd say Copperhead.

i do have big hands... any news if they're going to be making vista drivers for them? or is razer like logitech and anything a bit older won't ever get support again
