Just wanted to note I've been using wireless mice for the last 4 years. My Razer Mamba crapped out on me for unknown reasons after 2 years and I've been using some terrible Microsoft Wireless Mouse 2000 since. Going wired might make me certifiably insane for a short while as I adjust, but the prices of the top tier wireless mice like the Mamba and the Sensei are equally mind-boggling. The Logitech 602 boasts wireless tech but it also has a weird "mmo-array" of buttons on the side that make me feel as if though I'd be frustrating over them rather than focusing my outrage over getting killed by guys half my age repeatedly on modern shooters. I loved my mamba. It was comfortable, sleek in design and offered the right buttons where I needed them. I've never owned a Logitech gaming mouse (believe it or not), but Ive been sporting the G19 keyboard for years now. So what do you guys think? Every opinion counts in my book. Let me hear your thoughts

Edit: I'm open to other mice suggestions if you guys have any.

Try with the Corsair M95 or M65, I was more or less in the same boat some time ago, after testing A LOT of mice, Cheap, expensive or with fancy adjustable hand position, the best I have tested was the Corsair M90 and that's what the mouse I have picked and used since last year.. it have (just IMO) the correct weight, sensitivity, size, customization for the keys but the best of all its a silent clicking mouse.. (which its always my main concern and the first reason to change my Ouroboros..
 
The DeathAdder was my all time favorite mouse and is still the most comfortable I've ever used. I bought a G502 back in July and it's now my #1. The shape of the DA is still a little better for my hand but the G502 is close enough. The thing that puts it over the top is the near perfect sensor. This thing is surgical and easily the best of any I've used. The feel of it is very solid and the sniper button is great and well placed as are all the buttons actually. The Logitech Gaming Software is also excellent and totally transparent. It's the best mouse on the market IMO.
 
G502 is the best mouse from what I've read when it comes to optical mice (maybe the Zowie mice are better, but those are a bitch to get in the US I think). Everyone seems to like it, while the DA is good, I think there are quite some issues with the quality.
 
The DA has shitty drivers compared to Logitech (and Logitech drivers are shitty too), but I still prefer it. It's simple and doesn't have all sorts of half-baked crap like a wobbly scroll wheel with infinite scroll and tilting. Plus it's super accurate.
 
The Deathadder Chroma is probably the first good deathadder to come out, since the Black Edition Deathadder (when using the LEGACY drivers (3.02 I think), not using the Synapse. Synapse, if I recall, runs the mouse at the highest DPI and then interpolate scales it down to your target dpi, instead of running, lets say, an 1800 dpi 3.5G DA at true hardware 1800 DPI (that's why the mouse feels better with legacy drivers or with synapse uninstalled). I don't know how this applies to the Chroma, though, but the Chroma uses the same sensor as the DA 2013 version.

That being said, I'd go with the Logitech g502, but only if you like the shape. And its a heavier mouse. The G502 has the best sensor available now, as good as the MLT04 sensor once was, and as good as the (zowie fk1, but with less button lag and no smoothing. test it out at best buy first.
 
I kind of lost mind and got the g700s.. Now I'm wondering if I should take it back. I haven't opened it yet.. I only got it because it was the 3rd most expensive wireless mouse out there.. Not sure if it even has the same "revolutionary" sensor as the g502.. Anyone with some insight wanna help me out. I don't mmo so multiple macro keys don't really serve any purpose for me. Just looking for a comfortable, accurate fps gaming mouse.. Did I make the right decision?
 
I'm fairly certain it's not the same sensor as the G502. I wouldn't go too crazy about the mouse sensor unless it's known to be a very poor one, but other things like the weight of a wireless mouse might not be optimal for FPS gaming.

Between the G502 and Deathadder, I would pick the Deathadder since it's lighter in weight. Even thought it's not the very best sensor on the market, I would be very surprised if you made it malfunction since it's suppose to track perfectly up to somewhere around 4.5m/s if I'm not mistaken. I'm also not a fan of the G502 shape, but it's a good mouse if you enjoy the shape and don't mind the heavier weight.
 
You need to try both mice.

I've been using a G700 (non-s) for a good while now, and for FPS games I like on-the-fly DPI switching which the G700 can do pretty well. As for the sensor... in theory the G502 has 12,000 DPI vs. 8,200 DPI G700s.

If you can handle those DPI ranges in full gaming I would highly suggest you look into being a surgeon and make the big bucks.

Back to subject on hand; both mice can also poll high (at up to 1000 reports/second), the G700s can do this wirelessly which is where some fuss came about battery life being short, it takes more power to poll up to 8x more than a regular wireless mouse). Bring polling back down to 125 and the mouse will last for a long time wireless.

Weight and size are the biggest differences you should look at. It's all very subjective, the G700(s) is a larger & heavier mouse (with a battery). I use mine on a slick surface to have it glide easily. And due to it's size and shape it encourages more a palm grip I find.
 
G700 has a laser sensor AFAIK, so completely irrelevant. DPI does not matter, my mouse may have 16000 DPI, but that doesn't mean it's actually accurate/good. Both the DA and G502 have optical sensors without any acceleration AFAIK, while the G502 has a newer sensor with an additional sensor type thing that helps keep it more accurate.
 
I picked up the Diablo 3 branded Sensei a while back and it's been great (with the lights off the D3 design isn't too obvious). It was going for under $30 for a long time, but I guess the secret is out as it's crept up in price.
 
I've got the old G700 and a Sensei Raw (I have a mouse fetish apparently) and the G502 is far and away better in terms of the sensor. The Sensei would be 2nd but I'm not crazy about the shape and I don't like mice with buttons on both sides. The G700 is an excellent mouse no doubt and it's bigger and more ergonomically shaped so it wouldn't be a bad way to go.
 
I just picked up the Razer Deathadder Chroma this holiday season, and I can say it has been amazing so far. The sensor is pretty damn accurate and the software is pretty easy to use. Only thing its missing is a few handy lightning modes it could have had.
 
I just picked up the 502 and I can honestly say after having owned a plethora of different gaming mice (listed below), it is tied with the Steelseries Rival as my favorite mouse of all time. It just so happens both are optical... ;)

Logitech 508, M9, G700, G600, G502*
Razer Copperhead, Deathadder, Naga
Steelseries Sensei, Rival*

*Favorites, both optical.
 
As someone who owns both, I use the G502.

I'd go G502>Rival>Deathadder

Although if I'm being super honest, my dream mouse would be the CM Storm Spawn shell with the G502 sensor in it. I would buy like 10 of them, keep 9 in boxes, and use them until I die.
 
Thanks for all the insight and suggestion guys. I went ahead and kept the g700s.. Word to the wise, weight is very apparent and unless you manage the cumbersome cable in wired mode, goodluck gaming with it. It's front-heaviness is apparent. Making slight motions in the "horizontal" sense a little finicky. The curvature of the mouse is also a bit trouble due to the weight dispersion. I know I should take it back but short of spending $140 on a mamba/sensei I doubt I'll find a good wireless gaming mouse.
 
I very quickly replaced the USB cable on my G700s. The default one is a stubborn monster.
 
I like the deathadder's shape better but I'd definitely pick the G502 over the deathadder.
The G502's sensor is the most precise sensor that's out right now.

The only issue with the G502 is you might not like the metal scroll wheel "shaking" around when you swipe your mouse. G502 is also a bit heavier than the DA - so if you use low sensitivity and have to move your mouse over great distances that'll affect you too. If you use high DPI though you're going to love the weight!

People also don't like synapse 2.0. There's alot of complaints about it.
