Hello, I picked up razars black widow keyboard and am trying to assign a macro to control volume up and volume down. currently you need to hold fn+f2 however it is very inconvenient to do it one handed. The problem that I am having is not being able to assign the 'fn' key as a macro. It just doesnt detect that key. So without that, I cant assign volume for a macro.

I was wondering if anyone had any simple solutions to solve this problem. If not, I will return this keyboard and go back to my g110.

well first of all, i have a g110 and a blackwidow, and i wud rather cut off my fingers before i go back to the g110 lol. i just tried to do what u did in the configurator, and was unsuccesful.i think the way to do it wud be to get some 3rd party key remapping software of some sort to reprogram the function key to a normal key. not sure if this would be compatible with the razer software. and cant u just use the speaker volume control?

Have you tried simply remapping one of the m keys to windows volume up or down? I haven't tried this myself but I know there are a host of default options available for key remapping in the razer software. Also you should just throw that g110 in the trash.

lol i agree with this guy^^^ and u wud have to somehow make a hotkey to the windows volume control and then assign that as a macro
