RatPadz tip - make it as good as new

well,

it begins with me getting slightly annoyed with my ratpadz, it has seen a good 6 months hard use and was beginning to get slower and i was thinking about getting a new mouse mat. Nayway, to cut a long story short I sawe my friend polishing his shoes with one of those silicon impregnated spounges, I have just used it on the Ratpadz and it is as good as new, the mouse glides effortlessly over the pad with very little effort.

Good as new :D

thought i would share the joy ;)

Now come up with a way to re-flatten the thing when it's about .25 inches out of true flat.........:)

tru dat, damn thing has been warped since about 2 months after I got it. Now three years old, its also not slick at all....
 
maglev would be cool

anyway, getting a func shortly, will see how that is in comparison
