I've got a P5Q-EM and for whatever reason, the bios is thinking my processor has an actual ratio of 6x, while it shows that the max is 8.5 (a q9550). Any idea why this is? I cannot get speedstep to work on here as with "Auto" it sets me to 6x, even under load. If I set it manually to 8.5x, speedstep is disabled. I think this is also preventing speedstep from turning my voltage down as load or not I have the same voltages. These cpu features are enabled in the BIOS so I don't see why this board isn't working properly at all.
Any ideas? I'm keeping an eye out for a P5E-VM.....
