You guys took the words right out of my mouth... get a new motherboard... if you want a cheaper one ? I recommend the Shuttle an35n Ultra.. about $60.
 
looks good i think that a 9600xt is faster than the 256 9600 pro not sure tho thats something to check out ;)
 
I would get the 9600XT instead of that pro if price is not that big of a difference.

Get the Shuttle AN35N Ultra. I have my g.f rig running a 2400+ Mobile with that mobo and it is overclocked to a 3200+ speed super stable. You can't beat the price either.

As for the sound card, get the Chaintech one. I believe that it is going for $25 at the Egg.
