Hey. what do you think of this system, im concerned about heat!
any parts that you would change ?

case: tj08
cpu: i5 2500k
cooler: Prolima megahalems (passive)
mobo: asus p8p67-m pro
ram: 8 gig corsair vengance 1600
Gfx: 2x Gigabyte 5770 silent cell passive cooled
SSD: Corsair 60gig
HDD: 500gig Samsung
HDD: 1 Tb Samsung
PSU: Seasonic M12-11 Silent PSU

+ inner case dampening
+ the only two fans in the system are 1x intake 1x exhaust 120mm

Will it cook ?
 
nice build. i myself have a tj08 with the i7 2600k, but the same p8p67-m board. mine's not quite as quiet as yours but it's a pretty clean case IMO. it's hard to get your cables arranged in this case though because of the lack of routing space behind the motherboard plate. mine's neat enough for me :).
 
Hey, yeh i already have the tj08 and one 5770 so just switching motherboards and throwing in another 5770. I didnt know about the new high end passive card you linked.. looks good.!

i agree, the cable mgt in not very good but luckily I dont have to look at it, to me it looks liek the TJ08-e has an extra cm behind the mobo which allows for better cable mgt.

I'll take some pics when it comes together, its going to be squishy!

Btw did you go with xfire? how are your temps wiht the megahelams and the passive gpus? could you post some pics of the inside?

Hey, ATM I have one 5770 passive which gets to 70 celcious after a big gaming sesh, with fans set to low... I2500k will also be passive under the prolimatech megahalems, ATM using a q8400 which idles at 38 and 60 at load passive. Just waiting on parts and will take some shots and new temp readings

Really Keen on a passive psu but being at the top of the case I opted the seasonic which is shit and noisy btw

-running furmark 3d
(had to set fans to high or probs would have got to 85+ degrese.)
-top card 74c
-bottom card 64c

not really happy with the temps, i guess 2 passive cards in a small case is not the best idea...

anyway some pics
