Hey Guys, decided since my work gave me a macbook pro that I would go back to using a desktop for my home use. This is the setup I am going with:

Case: Lian Li PCV351B
Mobo: Asus Rampage 2 Gene
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 (using the noctua nh-c12p heatsink)
Ram: 12gb Gskill ram
Video: EVGA GTX280 (Got it for 200, should work for now)
HD: 1tb WD HD (Going to add another in the coming weeks)
PSU: Corsair 850HX PSU

Going to use 2x Dell G241's that my work gave to me for free.

What do you guys think??

Seems like one hell of a powerhouse. I've got the PC351B and I love it, great choice there. I would prefer a different motherboard simply because of the layout of the pcie/pci. I use my x1 slot for my Xonar DX, pci for wireless and x16 for the obvious video card. Your card is going to to cover up either the x4 slot or the pci, and if you plan to go sli (assuming since you're getting a board capable of it) then it wouldn't really cover all of my personal needs. But if you plan on using on-board audio and no wifi, by all means go ahead.

In my past computers I would always buy a sli/crossfire board, but never end up buying a 2nd video card. So I kind of just stopped buying them to save the trouble.

Yeah, well they dont make any matx non sli boards, thanks for the advice though. I plan to get a coop GTX295 in the future if needed.
