not bad but I would've dropped that cpu cooler as apparently it is an absolute bitch to install and gone with 2gb of G.skill DDR800 instead as the e6400 will overclock nicely on stock cooling. Get a 7600GT for $100 that way you can still game a bit :)

great psu. first modular psu certified by nvidia. first, maybe only psu under $100 certified by nvidia. i have had one for a couple years and it worked great with 7900gtx sli, 4x hd, 5x 120mm fans, 2x optical and overclocked cpu. i would have to go for the 2gb of ram, also. dont know much about low end vid cards tho. have a 8800 gts now, and a 8800gtx coming from evga on the step up program. dont know about that mainboard either. how about the non-striker asus 680 board (p5n32 something)?

I think I will absolutely need the the Scythe Infinity because I don't have a good airflow in the case. I don't need to game right away and I don't really have any games to play other than Counterstrike 1.6 atm so the cheapest PCIe will do.
As for 2GBs, I will upgrade to 2 GBs when I have the money. Right now, it's at the maximum.

Do you think that a 350w Antec powersupply will work with this setup? I heard that PCI-e mobos need a new power connector but I am not sure if mine has that. All I know is that the Antec PS came with my Antec SLK case.

Good to hear. The DS3 is probably the best mobo for the buck to overclock a C2D. I can't afford a 680 board and don't need the features. I don't want to SLi and I need the extra PCI ports.

Changed the PSU to JustPC 600W for $89. I heard the Sunbeam doesn't have good fans and they're loud.
