I think I made a mistake when I built my system by using a 74GB raptor as my main hard drive for all of my applications and OS. The reason being is that the disk is filling up more quickly than I thought it would.....I was thinking of an upgrade to a Raptor X. Any thoughts on that drive or recommendations?

Do you need the "X" version? Why not get the cheaper 150GB without the bling winder?

Or, heaven forbid (I'm gonna get flamed by the RAID Hatorz crew for this) buy another 74GB Raptor and RAID0 'em for twice the capacity. You'll need a third HDD for backups.
 
Some applications don't NEED the HDD speed, e.g. MS Office or whatever suite you use. I only have games and the OS on my 74GB, since I don't do any photo editing or music work or video editing or anything. :)
