Raptor worth it?

[Spark_Plug]

I am going to be building a new PC after the price drops and I am debating on whether or not to use a 150GB Raptor or just get a cheaper 320gig hard drive? What benefits do I get out of using a Raptor? I know that the RPM rate is faster but what exactly does that do? Is there a noticeable difference between a raptor and say a 7200.10? I will be playing games and doing video encoding if that affects anything. Would it be worth it to drop the $170 on a raptor?

Thanks for the help!

Toms has a chart that lets you compare the two (they are highlighted in red) by lots of different metrics (read/write rates, access time, I/O performance, XP startup time, cost/gb): http://www23.tomshardware.com/storage.html?modelx=33&model1=280&model2=684&chart=32

Maybe someone has links to a review of the two side by side for gaming load times.
