I'm thinking of building a briefcase lan box, and wanted to throw a 36gb raptor in it. how well do they survive? would it hold up to the riggors of a lan box?
 
They use the same basic hardware tricks as SCSI for longevity, so I'd expect it to do pretty well. The 74GB is faster, though.
