When i first hooked everything up, it worked fine. I went into windows setup, and went to install the RAID driver... and realized that the floppy wasnt hooked up.

I powered the system off while it was still in setup, hooked up the floppy drive, and booted.

The system just hung at the "verifying DMI pool data..." screen. If I disconnect the hdd, the system boots fine. I took a second raptor and have it in the system, and operation with windows XP right now.

Did I damage the boot sector on the first raptor or something? Any ideas on how to fix?

I figured it out. :)

FYI, It already had the latest bios.

I changed the boot order in bios to: Floppy, CD-ROM, Hard Disk. Then it worked fine. Pretty damn strange if I do say so myself.
