So i just installed my brand spanking new raptor and i have case cover off and what not.

I hear a repetative Buzz Like a power fluctuation? Is this normal?


Its buzz, then some harddrive seek noise for like 1 sec, then no noise then a few seconds later buzz.... and repeats on and on and on, i check HD tune and there are no errors or anything...

I think that all hds do this? Cause i hear it on other drives not as distinctly as the raptor though. ITs louder on teh raptor.

Raptor = spins faster = louder. Basically.

Turn off indexing service if you haven't already.
