I've decided to go with a single 36gb Raptor, and would like to know how you guys are configuring these on the ICH5R. Do I need to set SATA mode to Enhanced or Auto in the Integrated Perephials section of my BIOS?
 
I just set up a single Raptor on my IC7 as well and I can only get the thing to work by setting it to IDE-enhanced.
Once I got Server2003 setup on it, the device manager shows it as an Ultra DMA mode 5. Shouldn't it be like 6 at least?
And how come the Intel RAID bios screen doesn't come up with just one drive?
