I ordered two (2) WD Raptors. One (1) was DOA. Multiple SMART errors, the other was fine. In order to prevent the long wait for the new drive the arrive I chose RMA Refund and not RMA Repair. This pisses me off to no end as Newegg wants a restocking fee....a RESTOCKING FEE!!! ON A FUCKING BROKEN DRIVE! HOW THE FUCK DO YOU RESTOCK A BROKEN PRODUCT?!?!?! Put it back on the shelf and sell it to some other dolt! WTF. I am fucking speechless.

Anyway....so I ordered another drive with overnight shipping. Of course its the fucking weekend, just my luck, won't receive it for many days. I then fill out the RMA Refund request and specifically update the field to reflect that I am only sending one drive back as the other is good.

I got my confimation email in which it states that I am in fact sending only one back (Quantity: 1) but under the refund amount it shows the total line amount for the purchase (2 drives) at $244 (2 x $122).

Side note: The price for the 36GB Raptor went up $10 to $132 now and the order limit per customer went from 2 to 1. I wouldn't wait long if you plan on getting these....this is one of the reasons that I chose to order another and not wait over a week for the RMA. I'm sure if I tried that it would be a month before my new drive showed up as it would probably be out of stock.

I hope Newegg refunds me for both when they only receive one. I really can't express how pissed I am that they want a restocking fee for a failed product....once again....WTF.
