Randomly renaming files

Ok, I have a lot of mp3s (I own cds of every one, no piracy involved) and I want to use them with GTA, however I don't want them to be in album order as they are now, if I don't feel like a particular track I don't want to listen to the rest of the album as well.

But GTA just plays them going down the filename, which would put them in album order, so my question is, can they all be easily randomly renamed. I don't care what they are called, just as long as it's random.
 
You have access to a bash type shell of any kind? Wouldn't be too bad to write a totally randomizing script in it.

Id think some set of the great number of options would bork your order of file names :p

personally I just use the play random options in all my players, suprised yours doesnt have that

So would I, but GTA (the game) doesn't allow for that...
