random sites do not load properly

random sites do not load properly

all I see is text and it seems like the css do not load at all.

This is happening on multiple computers...

any suggestions?

I am using opendns servers but I also switched to 4.2.2.1 and same results...

One time something similar happened with me when I was using 9k Jumbo frames when connected to the router's 10/100 port which didn't knew very well how to deal with some websites.

I am not sure if some pages didn't load partially or at all, can't remember exactly.
 
sounds like packet loss on your connection maybe.....

ping google.com -t 1000 and check out the results
 
Are you on Linux Mint using Firefox by chance? I've had some random issues like this too and trying to figure out where the cause is, and it only seems to affect certain sites, but it's always the same sites. Reddit is one of them. I get a different error though, I get "The connection has been reset" and have to hit refresh. Quite annoying. It's client side, as it does not even try to load it just goes straight to the error, then hitting refresh clears it. I have not had it happen in quite a while though. It seems to come and go.
 
Looks like you are using Chrome. Hit F12, switch to network and refresh the page. Look a the list to see if you have any 404 or 500 errors on the stuff for the page loading.
