in the past 10 minutes my computer has shut down 3 random times for no reason. my cpu is a barton 2500+ overclocked to 3200+ speeds, but the temp was at 42 degrees celcius when it shut down. the lights and fans on my box stay on, but my monitor turns off. what could cause this? could it be my power supply? i'm using a codegen 300w power supply powering the rig in my sig...could that be the problem?

What were you doing on it when these lockups occured? Gaming, online, transfering data? does the computer just freeze, restart?, does the monitor just shut off and computer still running?

When did you last do a full virus scan.

I would.....
Set everything back to stock speeds.
Check all your fans are still working and the heat sinks are not full of dust. CPU, NB, Vidio Card, etc.
Check both temps and voltages are within the correct range.

Luck...... :D
