• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Random Screen Blanking

The fact that it 'comes right back' is weird. Try swapping the monitor or the monitor cable to rule those out.

Also since you are using Win 7 .. does this happen in WinXP or Vista?? If not you know the problem is Win 7

Sounds like a display link negotiation problem.
Possibly you have a bad connection on the video cable or the cable is faulty.
Try another cable.

Its also worth trying 60Hz, 65Hz and 70hz refresh rates.
This wont cause any damage and may work fine for you.

i think it has to do with the TDR problem some people are currently having....myself included.

Basically your driver is timing out then recovering. This is happening most noticeably on nvidia chipsets with nvidia cards in win 7.

to be fair i didn't get it on my 680i and i only get it on my 780i when using sli. i would good that problem though and see if you get any answers to your issue.
