I'm currently pushing my E6750 near 4ghz. It doesn't error out, but just randomly restarts durring the test, does that mean I am just not giving it enough voltage, or the cpu just isn't going to go any higher? The temps are already going out of my comfort zone, so I don't want to really give it any more volts if it won't matter. I'm at 1.52v currently.

3.9ghz is perfectly stable, btw.

i think its just unstable, need more voltage.

what cooler r u using?

and what are you temps?

Temps are nearing 75c load under orthos's small FFTs test. =( I might need to get a new Heatsink (what do you suggest?) or may be forced to go water cooling if I want to keep it this high. (but I really didn't want to)

You would spend alot of money to go from 3.9 to 4.0 if you wanted watercooling. I would keep it at 3.9 and be happy. :)

The tuniq tower is one of the best, but you might pop in a more powerful fan?

Yeah, 3.9 for an E6750 is still really damn good.
