random reboots

my computer randomly reboots and its very irritating. i doubt its my power supply or my ram [probably software conflicts] any ideas?

did you actually test your ram? well if you think it's a software problem why don't you reinstall your OS...?

im having the same issue. It's not my OS (reinstalled differant OS). I have a feeling it's a cooling issue... which *might* be something to consider in your case.

I just added another fan that is going to cool off a 200GB hard drive i have in the system.....

Test RAM first. Then look at factors like overheating, faulty PSU, etc.

Download memtest86.com or memtest.org and boot off a disk and let the test run for a few passes.

No, whats the brand and size of your PSU's for the both of you.

I put in an extra fan pointed at my 200GB hard drive, problem solved!
