PCs been stable for about two weeks now at it's current speed (check sig) and lately its started randomly rebooting itself. I can run orthos for days on end and no errors in memtest. The weird thing is that the PC tends to reboot itself when I'm not doing anything. Like when I first start it up and am waiting for the startup programs to load, but If I click and open anything else during this time the PCs fine. Mind you that it doesn't restart all the time, just occasionally. Could this be a hardware failure or what?

Yeah I was actually think the same thing myself....
My computer only has a 430 and it gets unstable at times.....other than that maybe more ram?....but that would be my last resort.

my puter has the exact same psu with the cpu and clocks in the sig and im perfectly stable.

moe, my guess is its your psu, i used to have 400 watt that died on me and it barely sufficed for my needs and they arent very high =P. if its not the psu its probably the ram.

Thats a shame, this FSP is a good psu. Probably be purchasing another FSP in the near future then, they seem to be well built and relatively cheap.

Try using HDTune or something to check your HDD. If that checks out, replace the PSU.

My RAID became corrupted a little while ago, and it was giving random reboots and freezes. Could be the HDD.

I had hard drives that gave me random reboots...

Do you get any blue screens or?

I used to have the same problem with my first pc that I built. Turns out it was just a short from contact from the risers that held the motherboard.
