Hey Folks, I just bought a new router. I'm using a D-link DGL-4500 router and it keeps giving me random page not found errors in both I.E. and Firefox. I have no problems downloading files and no problems playing games online. I just get intermittent page not found errors while browsing the web.

I'm currently still using the original 1.02 firmware.

So far I've read that I can try updating the firmware or manually adjusting the dns settings, but I figure I'd ask you guys before I mess around with it too much :)

a friend of mine just bought a new d-link router and had the same problem. we set it to use OpenDNS for DNS and the problem went away...

I tried OpenDNS last night and it fixed it for me too. I guess my new router doesn't like my ISP DNS. I'll stick with OpenDNS :)

I read too many horror stories from those who updated their firmware, so I'm still at 1.02.
