Can you post the error codes here? probably a bios setting or hardware driver problem ..

what ram are you running, list the part # pls.
Are you running the ram on AUTO settings or did you set the timings and voltage yourself to the G.Skill specs?

is the cpu overclocked?

does the mobo have the latest bios installed?

My name is Sougata and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell.

I Would like to provide you information about how to reinstall a fresh copy of hal.dll file (from winxp cd ) with which you seem to have problem

1>Boot From the Windows XP CD
2>Watch for a Press any key to boot from CD...
3>Press a key to force the computer to boot from the Windows CD. If you do not press a key, your PC will continue to boot to the Windows XP
4>Once a list of options is provided - choose the option R to boot to recovery console
5>It will ask you which windows installation you want to choose - press 1 and hit Enter
6>When you reach the command line prompt type the following
expand d:\i386\hal.dl_ c:\windows\system32
7>It will say 1 file expanded
8>Press exit to reboot the system

That should put in a replace the corrupted file hal.dll in the system with a fresh copy from the winxp cd.

If that does not fix your problem , I would suggest a clean reinstallation of windows xp from the windows xp cd.
