If you were asked to define their business model and the way in which it was implemented, would you describe something that you feel is an honest way of getting paid?

From a competing business's standpoint, I'd describe it as a dishonest way of getting fucked over. Here's to hoping memory prices drop to the range they were before RAMBUTT screwed over the market with their little boo-hoo charade.
