Ok, here goes.

I'm looking for the fastest ram out there. I care not for LL and my wallet knows no bounds! I simply want the best ram that will reach the highest clocks, period.

Fire away.

Bonus points if I can get it in Canada, but that doesn't matter either.

(edit) reviews mean less to me than actual clocks by actual people... but they will do.

I've got geil 4200, show's as PC4300 in CPUz, i can run 295fsb 1:1 with nice slack timings. A lot cheaper than corsair, and i've seen my same geil @ 312fsb 1:1 on xtremeforums.

Hipro5 on there has his @ that speed. and busting 7500+ in sisoft.

I can barly break over 7k in sisoft i go back to my 2.4c chip.

Hipro5 from xtremesystems. He also owns the highst fsb on a intel chipset 371fsb on the northbridge. Im a mod in the OC forum there. My mouth drops evertime he posts something!!!

ocz is both stocked at www.canadacomputer.com and www.bigfootcomputers.com but canadacomputers usually beats it with price. However, canadacomputers customer service is THE worst i have ever seen, but they stock cosair as well.

As for what is best, I think you would be better off with high mhz relatively low latency ram such as the http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.html?i=1940

Hey kovermours I'll split the bonus points with my fellow corsairians. You won't be disappointed. Not only is it good ram but I had a stick go bad after 3 years and newegg replaced it no problem

OCZ 4200 it is...

I can get it locally at NewType... compare this with this, add in shipping, and tell me Vancouver isn't a great place to buy parts

it should work nicely with my underground w/c

Unfortunately I don't have an unlocked processor or abit IS7, and since they don't compare any *other* ram, or even compare it with *other* motherboards, it's a pretty useless review imo

I don't care if a single set of ram gets x fsb if another one gets higher, and they don't tell me about it
