RAM - Why no 1:1 Setting?

Had my RAM set to 6:6 to FSB and someone said it should really be 1:1 if you dont have a P4 or something. Went into soft menu and all I saw were options for Auto, by SPD, 3:3, 3:4, 3:5, 3:6, up through 6:6!? Why no 1:1 setting? What should I be running? Set it to 3:3 right now. Running 12x200 for 2.4ghz.
 
That's what I figured, but why do they EVEN HAVE settings for 3:3 or 6:6 if they are really just 1:1? There must be a more technical answer for that, meaning is there a single "good" setting or does 1:1 really = 3:3 = 6:6?
