I was thinking about upgrading to this OCZ ram which I hear is very fast considering the timings are 2-2-2-5 I believe the timings on my old ram are 3-3-3-8.

my current system is
SB61G2R
2.8 ghz P4 HT
160 GIG seagate baracuda 7200 rpm
300w shuttle silent x psu
EVGA 6800gt
and the 2x512 PC3200 ram

my question is will I see a *noticable* improvement while gaming with this new ram or is it better to just save my money. Thanks.

I highly doubt it'd be noticeable, especially considering the $$. You might get 1-2fps...

you'd get a greater difference buy getting a set of 2x1gb sticks for about the same price.
