Ram timing issues

Hello everyone! I recently built my first cpu and its running great! I am however having one issue that I can't quite figure out... I cannot seem to get my RAM timings to work.

I am using a Crosshair formula IV keyboard and G skill rip jaws DDR3RAM (Model F3-10666CL7D-8GBRH)

Cas Latency
7

Timing
7-7-7-21

Using AMD Overdrive trying to set those timings it has a habit of both changing the timings and CAS latency back to something weird, and it automatically sets my memory clock to 400 instead of 667.

I have had no luck getting it to work in BIOS either, thoughts? (I am a noob at all of this admittedly.) :(

ill venture to say that the keyboard you are using is irrelevant, though.

If you dont mind, an explanation of exactly which X-X-X-Xs are which written out would be helpful to ensure that i am getting you correct info and what timings are set to what!
 
P.S. again... thank you all for taking the time to read and help! I realize you probably get a lot of new people coming on for one post and running away thereafter quite a bit. :(
 
i have similar ram, i just had to change the xmp profile in bios, seems they have 4 timing profiles out of the box, maybe yours are like that too
