What would be the best ramsinks to get for a 9800 pro? Or would it be better to just get a VGA silencer?

Ram Sinks?

Are teh two mutually exclusive? I would say go for the silencer if they are. I have heard nothing but good things about it. My 9600Pro can get 720 DDR easy with no ramsinks but I am stuck at 460 as far as GPU. I'm hoping some sort of better than stock cooling on the core will help me get up to 500.
As far as RAM sinks go, I'll only tell you that my experience has been save your money. They're on my 9600 Pro now and didn't increase my memory performance 1 mhz. Same with my previous Ti4200. Added them and didn't increase memory porformance 1 mhz. From now on I will not be adding any ramsinks to my videocards. Just my experience.

Ok, look. I'm not lying, soon as the site comes back it will show you. Really, why is this so good? I see people runnin 400Mhz+ on their RAM and everyone is like "meh... thats alright." *shrug* anyway. Thats the numbers I got and I woudnt lie about it. Especially about being on stock cooling.
But, back to the subject of the thread, now you see why I would rather have the VGA silencer than the RAMsinks.
