I have a question about ram. I have 1 gig of Corsair TWINX 2700 and a 1 gig of Corsair 3200 non xms. my system oc to 190external clock the ram timings are 6-3-3-3 on the 2700 and 8-3-3-2.5 on the 3200, which ram should I use? the rest of my system specs are on my sig

I say that you use the 3200 set of Ram. Is it possible to somehow OC your CPU so that it runs on a 200FSB? Hopefully if you have an unlocked CPU, you can change the multi and set the FSB to 200. Then you can run 1:1 with your PC3200.

If you cannot run the CPU to 200FSB, then lower the timings on your PC3200.

yeah my cpu is locked :( another problem is I live where the avg temp outside during the summer is 110-115f, electicity bill can get really high with the ac on and atm ac isnt on. room runs 85-90f so its hard to keep cpu cool. So I cant get higher than 190 atm, maybe this winter. Any ideas on how low I can get the 3200 timings down to?

Go to your Motherboard Bios, and there should be something like Advanced Chipset blah blah...

Change it to Manual and lower it little by little.
