If I run PC2100 RAM with a Athlon XP 2500+ Barton (1.83GHz/333 FSB) will I be overclocking the RAM or slowing down the processor?

Neither. By default, the processor will run at 1.83GHz and the memory will run at 133MHz instead of 200MHz. If you run the FSB and memory synchronously, then you will be overclocking your ram.

So I can run DDR2100 and the XP 2500+ Barton both at their stock FSB's and not slow down or overclock either?
