hello all, ok i jus got another stick of 512 400Mhz pc3200 kingston ram. well im running dual channel and that fine. But Before when i had one stick it read memory speed as 400mhz. now it reads 320mhz.?? does anyone know whats the deal with this? i appreciate any feedback.
 
You might try and put one stick in at a time, and see what speed they show. If the new stick by itself shows 320mhz then you know the new stick is bad (or bad settings). If they both show 400mhz alone and 320 together its probable a mobo issue. Might try getting ahold of the manufactures knowlage base or tech support. Mabe a bios flash would fix it (but I would not recomend doing a bios flash unless you have to or you know what your doing)....
