Ok so I bought some pc8500 (2x 1gig) memory a while ago and stock voltage is 2.1v and 1066mhz on it. So I decided to buy another set from newegg to jump up to 4gig. On newegg's site the specs said that it runs stock at 2.1v. When UPS dropped the package off today I found on the box that it says it runs at 2.2v. I put it in my computer and I can only get it to run stable at 800mhz when it is suppose to run at 1066mhz stock. I also have to leave the voltage settings on auto or it won't run stable with all 4gigs. I have tried different voltages and only can get it to run stable at 800mhz. Is there anyway I can get it to run stable at 1066mhz. This is kinda pissing me off because newegg posted it as having 2.1v stock!
 
If it's specified to run at 1066MHz at 2.2V then I wouldn't be amazed if it won't get there at 2.1V, no - your only options to get it running at full speed may be to increase the voltage, drop the timings or return it to NewEgg for selling you a product that doesn't match the specifications they claimed.
