Long story short, I needed to RMA my gig (2x512) of Kingston DDR400. Got my new package today, put it in the system, and no luck. All sorts of different configurations, cleared CMOS, the works.
However, running 512MB (2 sticks of 256) of Kingston DDR333, I've got no problems.
Both sets of RAM are dual channel, HyperX, CL2. Motherboard is MSI K7N2 Delta ILSR.
From what I've been reading, this may be due to a BIOS problem, and Kingston recommends flashing my BIOS.
On MSI's page here , it lists procedures for Award BIOS (which is what I have) and those with non-Fat file systems. My harddrive is in NTFS.
If I do need to flash the BIOS, which one should I do?
Thanks.
