I ordered my new comps
Evga 780i MB's
Pyn 8800gt's
4 gigs (g-skill) 800mhz
640gig WD HD
q6600 CPU

now my operating system (vista and XP) both show that i have only 2.5 gigs of ram when i do have 4. my BIOS reconizes that i do have 4 gigs so it narrows it down to the OS's. anyway i can make it reconize that i have 4?

i have 2 of the same systems btw , and both OS's only see 2.5gigs.

thanks

ended up seeing another post on this right after, no need to comment hehe sorry for the false thread, saw that i had both 32bit versions and it requires 64 bit to get the full ram access

If you can get the 64-bit Vista disc, your Vista key should work with the same version 64-bit installation.
