I can't keep my fingers on my RAM for more than 5 seconds while testing under memtest86+

Should I add a fan to my RAM?

The NB heatsink is fine tho... I can keep my fingers on that baby all day...

I dont think you should "touch" your ram while the computer is operational, but thats just me, and yes, you can add a small fan to cool it down.

I poke and prod my computer when it is running, it hasn't blown up yet. However, bumping the ram while it is running can cause a crash cause the RAM momentarily looses proper pin contact.

I'd say the op just needs to get a fan blowing some air on them if he is worried.

Its fine to check temps of ram with a finger as long as you earth first and dont push it.

OP, for sure get a fan on your ram before damage occurs.
I do exactly that, my 80mm fan sits on top of the gfx card, drawing air over the memory and blowing over the motherboards heatsinks (X38 mobo).

Try reducing the memories voltage as well, it may work fine at lower volts, mine works great at -0.1V from rated.
(DDR2-1000 OCz platinum)

Lowered voltages to 1.9v, stable for now. Gonna do some longer tests over the weekend.
